Merida

Mérida is located inland but still in the same state as Tulum, Yucatán. Merida has a great history and it has been around since the 16th century.

There are countless things to do in Merida. Some of the most famous landmarks include the Cathedral of San Ildefonso, Palacio de Gobierno as well as the Museo Casa Montejo.

Merida has a decent nightlife scene with a lot of great restaurants and bars.

Outside the city, you will find plenty of things to do such as visiting the cenotes which attract freedivers from around the world

Puerto Escondido

Puerto Escondido is all the rage as we move into 2023 and a lot of people are buying real estate and moving there permanently. With an awesome surfing scene in addition to incredible nightlife, this is a must-visit for this year if you’re in Mexico.

Located on the Pacific coast in Oaxaca, it is the adventure capital of Mexico with awesome activities such as swimming with dolphins, horseback riding, and baby sea turtle release tours.

If you’re in Mexico we’d recommend visiting this gorgeous town for at least 3 days.

Valle De Bravo

A little less known than its other counterparts, Valle de Bravo is a gorgeous town that is located a couple of hours outside of Mexico City.

The place is renowned for its gorgeous hikes and adventure activities such as paragliding and ATV riding/water skiing.

In the 19th century, this was a very popular destination for wealthy families from Mexico City, however, now it is popular amongst Mexicans and tourists alike.

If you do get a chance to get out here for at least a weekend we would highly recommend it.

Mexico City
